My order-received page is not working properly when Google Tag Manager is Activated.
After purchasing, the thank you page just showed “Thank you. Your order has been received”, and the order details stopped showing. Here is a link where you can see the problem when Google Tag Manager for WordPress is activated: https://snipboard.io/Lnzk8T.jpg
And here is a link where you can see that thank you page works perfectly when Google Tag Manager is Deactivated. https://snipboard.io/l8vPfI.jpg
Please, can you help me to fix this issue?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Please open GTM4WP plugin options page on your WordPress admin.
Change the GTM container ID to GTM-ZZZZZZ and save this change.
Place an order and check whether your thank you page shows correctly.

If yes, then the issue is related to some tag in your GTM container and not GTM4WP.
If the error still persist then this might be some conflict with another plugin.

If I can place a test order on your site without the need to use my real bank card, I can have a look.

Hello, I had the same Problem with my thank-you page. I suggested a code fix, but never received an answer.

    Maybe this helps…

    Hi @ngoels ,

Thanks for the suggestion. Sorry for the missing reply, it was not intentional.

I will check your code soon.

Just to make sure @joannavgp can see my answer in the other thread:

The latest version of GTM4WP includes a fallback tracking for purchases. If the above lines fail for some reason but the custom thank you page plugin implements the woocommerce_thankyou hook, there is a chance that transaction tracking is going happen.

Hi Thomas, thanks for your answer. I saw today that you’ve published a new version of your plugin. Will it be safe for me to do an update without seeing my thank-you-page vanishing? ??

    thx & nice greetings,
    Norbert

I would love to give you guaranties but the complexity of the WordPress ecosystem leaves only one safe option: create a test version of your site and update everything there first, then test and if everything goes well, update your live site as well.

    Hi Thomas,
everything seems to work now. Thanks for your help.

    Danke & viele Grü?e,
    Norbert

Hi @duracelltomi and everyone! The problem was fixed. One thing I did was to uncheck the
‘Track classic e-commerce’ option. Although it seems to be deprecated, since I unchecked it, the problem disappeared. For now, I could say the issue was fixed. Thank you @duracelltomi, I ran your suggestions, then I realized that classic e-commerce was activated. I am sorry for the delay in answering.
