Google Tag Manager

  • “Oh, and the plugin can work on a website that already uses Google Tag Manager.” – does it means we need to insert the GA4 code into Gtag and the plugin will work with it instead of inserting the code from the plugin? Just checking…

    Hi @webprom

    The way it works is that we add the global site tag for GA4 but tell it not to track page views. This setup allows you to have both Google Tag Manager and our plugin on the same website.

    it means we shouldn’t add GA4 code into tag manager, right?

    Well, it means that you can if you want to use Google Tag Manager with GA4, and if you do, there’s a setting in our plugin that prevents duplicate entries.
