    Hey Jackie!

You’ll need to make sure you’re displaying the Testimonial Author, and then Google will pick up the Structured Data for that portion.

The itemReviewed is set by the 3rd Custom Field, which is labeled as such, however this isn’t *required* by Google – ie it will pass the structured data test but will just alert you that this part isn’t present.

    I hope that helps!

    All the best,
    Richard

Do you need to have the pro-version in order for the Author information show up? I’m having the same issue described by jackie777 in Google Webmaster Tools.

I couldn’t rationalize spending $59 to make the author field available for the testimonials. So, I had to uninstall Easy Testimonials plugin and go with the Random Text plugin to alleviate this issue in Google Webmaster Tools.

You guys might want to allow for the author field to be available to the free version of your plugin, since Google Webmaster Tools doesn’t like the missing author.

    Hey itanjillc –

I never noticed your first question, I suppose I don’t receive e-mail notifications on resolved threads.

No, you don’t need the Pro version to display the Author field.

Can you let me know what makes you think you need the Pro version to display the Author field?

    Best,
    RIchard
