    Hi,

I have upload the yoast sitemap to google console:
The http version has been includen with no problem
The https version is not uploading (Could not read sitemap)
When I inspect the url, Google says:
Is indexing allowed? No: the “noindex” tag was detected in the HTTP header “X-Robots-Tag”.

    Any help?

I see now it’s probably for the amount of pages, I have a multilanguage site with a lot of pages, how can I solve this to be able to upload the sitemap to google? It is possible to generate sitemaps by language?

    Hey @iggirubio,

Thank you for using Yoast SEO and for reaching out!

Is indexing allowed? No: the “noindex” tag was detected in the HTTP header “X-Robots-Tag”.

This is actual default and correct behavior. Sitemaps are XML sitemaps and are not intended to be indexed themselves – whereas you can use them to submit them to search engines. See: https://yoast.com/help/submit-sitemap-search-engines/

how can I solve this to be able to upload the sitemap to google?

You should only submit your sitemap_index.xml URL on your primary domain. Your site is configured at https://people-performance.com – so https://people-performance.com/sitemap_index.xml is the correct URL to use. Please give Google Search Console some time to crawl and visit your sitemap. If you get a “could not read” or “could not fetch”, please wait for a day or two to see if the status changes.

It is possible to generate sitemaps by language?

No, Yoast SEO will only create sitemaps based on post type. This is just fine by the Google guidelines. Google will find your content in different languages just fine and look at the page source and see the relevant HTML that tells what language the page is written into. This HTML output is done by your multilingual plugin and not Yoast SEO.
