Hello, we just had a tech-session with google support to implement google tag manager for conversion tracking earlier today. At first the support agent recommended some “random” tag-manager wordpress plugin and it was only after I asked if we can use sitekit, that we started to work with sitekit.

I updatet to the latest sitekit version – everything seemed to work fine. Now a few hours later the dashboard is not loading any data anymore and keeps piling up the errors in the browser.

Inside Sitekit settings everything is setup correctly with green checkmarks for all modules.

Hi @billyhoiler,

Thanks for getting in touch, and sharing details of the console errors you’re encountering. Based on the 403 errors you’re encountering, along with previous reports, I suspect there may be something at host or third party plugin level resulting in the blank dashboard.

So we can determine more on this, can you share the following information:
1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
2. If you temporarily disconnect the Google Analytics module can you confirm that the dashboard loads as expected (Site Kit > Settings > Analytics > Edit > Disconnect Analytics from Site Kit)? Note that you should make a note of the currently connected Google Analytics properties before disconnecting, to ensure you can then reconnect to the same properties after.
3. Does the same blank dashboard occur when checking from a Chrome browser incognito window?
Once we have the above I can provide some troubleshooting suggestions, which may include using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to determine or rule out third party plugin conflicts.

Hello James,

thanks for the quick reply.
1. sent via private form
2. not tried yet because could not see current property information ( and because of 3)
Settings for analytics is also not showing and endlessly “spins” the green bar
3. dashboard works in chrome incognito mode

Do you still need information on 2. or is 1. and 3. enough in this case?

Hi @billyhoiler,

Many thanks for sharing the additional insights. Great to know that the dashboard works in Chrome. What may be occurring in that case, is a browser extension or feature could be impacting you viewing the Site Kit dashboard.

Can you share what browser you typically use, when the error occurs? If using a standard Chrome browser session please share any extensions which you may have active. If using Chrome you can also try to clear your browsers cache and cookies, by following the guide below:

Hello James,

couldn′t reply over the weekend.
I usually use chrome as standard browser and haven′t changed any extensions lately.
Today – monday morning – everything works again and I haven′t changed a thing (not even browser cache or cookies).

Hope it stays that way now.
