Where do I place the Meta tag for Site verification, I have gone to Editor and looked in ‘main index template’ (index.php) and Header (header.php) actually I have systematically gone through all files, and cannot find location of <head> or <body>
The Meta tag needs to be below <head> and before <body>

Won’t bore you with all other ways have tried.
Many thanks in advance super theme, no other problems whatsoever.
    John

Dotcompals have been in touch and suggested Yoast plugin which has worked a treat.

So many thanks to them whoever they are, it was a no reply Email.

I had tried so many ways, not helped by the fact my Webhost uses a proxy so I couldn’t verify by that means either, and the HTML code was not working either.

Yoast looks very good and has some really helpful help hints along the way.
Again thanks to Dotcompals and to Yoast plugin.
    Johnnie.

Please John Ashtone, copy your htaccess code here…
I messed up my code so I need default…
You can find it under yoast SEO => edit

    Thanks
