Google Site Map

  • Hello,
    I was wondering if anyone could offer me some advice. I have tried to install the Google XML Site Map Generator and I keep on getting the following error messages:
    There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable. Learn more
    There was a problem writing your zipped sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable. Learn more
    I have changed the file permissions on the two files (sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz) and I still can’t seem to get it to work. Could someone point me in the right direction please (I am novice WordPress user).
