Can you confirm your language as defined in your WordPress general settings and user language?

Note that there may be additional plugins with translation features for particular plugins. As this occurred after a plugin update feel free to share your Site Health information and we can inspect your setup.

My language settings are well configured in French.
I use Loco Tranlate for the plugins to translate.
I turned it off to give it a try but it didn’t change anything.
On Loco Translate the language is French!
I also made a request to Site Health.

Thanks for submitting the additional details in the form. Unfortunately your full Site Health information wasn’t included, you need to use the “Copy to Clipboard” option the form before submitting.

From additional research and based on your last comments it looks like it may be a configuration issue with where the language files are located when using Loco Translate. I see others reported similar issues on the Loco Translate support forums.

Can you change your language files location using the plugin, before checking once more? If you find the same issue is occurring I can check from my side. I suspect this is related to your Loco Translate configuration.

Thanks for sharing. Your setup seems fine, with all languages French as you mentioned. The issue you are reporting I suspect is as a result of your Logo Translate configuration.

When adding your language within Loco Translate can you share which option you selected for your location?

You can also check the plugin specific configuration for Logo Translate under “Loco Translate > Plugins > Site Kit”

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem exists toupours.
As I am a WordPress beginner could you explain this maneuver to me: You can also check the specific configuration of the plugin for Logo Translate under “Loco Translate> Plugins> Site Kit”.

No problem, I’m happy to assist. Uninstalling the plugin may not resolve the issue if you’ve already associated language files with Site Kit.

Using Loco Translate you can remove the language file you’ve created for Site Kit before checking once more? To do so navigate to “Loco Translate > Plugins > Site Kit” and then delete any previously created language translation files.

If that doesn’t work you may need to contact Loco Translate support, with the plugin providing options to overwrite the default theme language files.

Then I reinstalled Site Kit by Google.
Now I have Site Kit by Google in French.
Everything works perfectly.
