    Hello,

I installed Google Sitekit because my Google Adsense ads are no longer displayed on my website. I am really struggling in finding out why my ads are no longer displayed. The Google Ads page itself says that: The number of ads you can show is limited. Visit the Policy Center for more information.

The Policy Center is giving me so much information, I just can’t find what is wrong with my website or traffic why I am being punished. Currently I switched all my ads off. I am also advertising my website with Google Ads and have no errors there.

Google Sitekit is not giving me any data, when I try to connect Analytics or Adsense it always gives the same error:

    Internal Server Error
The response is not a valid JSON response.

Can someone shine a light on this situation? Please.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear Site Kit and ads are not working as expected. In relation to ads we can’t be sure what’s occurring with this message you encounter on the AdSense platform. From our side we can only assist with Site Kit related queries and we don’t have access to users AdSense accounts. The product experts at the AdSense Help Center may be able to assist better than we can here if you show any such notices.

In relation to the “Internal Server Error: The response is not a valid JSON response.” notice you encounter within Site Kit this is something we can help troubleshooting with. If you’d like to share the following I can check your current setup and see if I can identify any aspect that may be causing this issue:

    1. Please share your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately.
    2. Do you see any console errors on the same screen whereby you encounter this notice?
    3. Do you encounter this notice with just the Search Console module active? You can temporarily disconnect your Analytics and AdSense modules by navigating to Site Kit > Settings > Connect Services.

As we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
