I am trying to complete setup for Site Kit, all sections seem to work but when I try to complete setup for adsence by clicking “Complete Setup for Adsense”, it seems to be perpetually loading/connecting and does not complete. I have an active google adsense account for a few years now with Approval status: “Ready” and Ads.txt status: “Authorized” for my site. Adsense was working just fine until a month ago on my website. I believe the site kit setup not being completed for the adsense section is the reason it stopped working. I would appreciate any help on this matter, thanks!

I have completed uploading Site Health information from this private form

Thanks for reaching out. Based on reviewing your site and the Site Health information you kindly shared, I suspect there may be something either at AdSense account level impacting Site Kit setup, or something with your plugin environment blocking the connection to AdSense. To troubleshoot this further, please follow the steps below:

    1. Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
    5. Attempt to connect the AdSense module once more.

Let me know how you get on with the above, or ask if you have any questions.

Thanks James, that worked and now adsense seems to be connected fine. After leaving troubleshooting mode the Site Kit dashboard now shows an error

Hi @dharapatel, thanks for sharing an update on this. Is this error displaying once you have disabled troubleshooting mode and activated all plugins once more? If yes and you don’t see this error while in troubleshooting mode then this means that there is a plugin conflict causing this. To find out which plugin is causing the conflict, enable the plugins one by one until you encounter the dashboard error once more.
