    Hello,

I am trying to go fully AMP, now working on the last hurdles…

One of them is Analytics. I am using Google Site kit, analytics is connected, but not sure if the AMP posts and pages are being monitored correctly now?

I see this big google tutorial page about AMP analytics here.

But How can I add that piece of code in the Site Kit? I can’ t…

Does this mean I have to manually add the code myself and remove the site kit plugin? Or is there another way?

    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I might need to add that I have also enabled google tag manager in site kit with container AMP snippet inserted. Just want to make sure everything is working correcly, I am not a coder.

Thanks for your support topic, good to hear that you’re looking to benefit from AMP. Luckily Site Kit does the hard work when it comes to Analytics. Providing you’ve allowed Site Kit to insert the Analytics snippet on your site the plugin inserts the regular snippet in your canonical (non AMP) URLs and the AMP vaild Analytics snippet (as per the guide you referenced) on your AMP URLs.

Great. If you’re using AMP (which I don’t see present on the URLs I checked on your site) the AMP container you’ve chosen will ensure any published tags within that container feature in AMP URLs only. You can select a web container for the non AMP URLs.

If you have any other questions feel free to get in touch. Best of luck with your AMP site.

Thanks for your swift reply. I have AMP disabled for about 30 minutes, trying to de0bug something.

AMP is anabled again now, can you please re-check?

I’ve checked and I can see AMP on your site, nice job. As you’re using the Newspaper theme you can check with the developer in relation to standard mode support, I believe they support transitional mode only. I noticed your hamburger menu isn’t working in AMP.

    Hey again.

Yes, I am running the theme Gridlove by Meks in standard mode and about 90% of it works. Took me nearly three days lol.

You are right about the hamburger menu, it’s one of the few things left that I need to fix and unfortunately I do need help from the theme developers. I hope they are willing to help out.

Anyway thats for checking, the Google Site Kit plugin is working flawlessly. I also added the AMP tag via tag manager. Keep up the good work!

Fingers crossed you have luck with the theme developer. You can also implement your own AMP hamburger menu using amp-sidebar component with a bit of work.

Be sure to let us know your thoughts no the latest version of the plugin
