Many thanks for opening an individual support topic, hopefully we can assist and ensure all works as expected. Firstly do you have access to your websites via FTP or by using your hosting control panels file manager? If so you can rename or remove the Site Kit plugin manually in order to deactivate. You’ll find the plugin located at “wp-content/plugins/google-site-kit“.

If you haven’t used FTP or a file manager system previously please request assistance from your hosting provider.

I’d also be happy to investigate your site setup if you’d like to share your Site Health information using this form, to see if there are any plugins or configurations which may be causing this.

the 1.37.0 version download link would need me to reload it there was still all right

    (@jamesosborne)

Thanks for the update. The latest Site Kit version is 1.39.0, so it would be great to know if the same issue remains after updating to this version. The fix for your particular issue was released last week and is part of this latest version.

Let me know if the issue persists anyway.

    Thread Starter Tomka Pál

    (@tompika100)

1, I completely uninstalled version 1.39.0 and then reinstalled it but the error still persists

2, I also turned off all plugins but it still occurs when errors occur

Thanks for the update. In that case can you share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. At what stage does this message appear? ie. As soon as you click on “Activate” on the main plugins page, or when accessing your Site Kit dashboard?

    (@tompika100)

When I want to turn on the plugin, I can’t turn it on because it’s running the error described above

Many thanks for sharing. As you’re unable to activate the plugin normally can you try and active the plugin in troubleshooting mode using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. In order to do so follow the steps below:

    1. Login to your site from a Chrome browser incognito window
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    5. Attempt to setup Site Kit once more

You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.

Let me know how you get on with the above.

The problem is solved. There was no problem with the Site kit .The error in Total commander converted the file name to lowercase when uploading.
