Google Shopping Invalid or missing description attribute

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Doesn’t the error in your GMC indicate the product description in your product feed is missing? I don’t think this has something to do with the mark-up/structured data on your landing pages itself.

Did you check the content of your product feed and checked if the product descriptions are in your feed?

We have already configured product description in the plugin field mapping but google merchant center indicates that product description is missing – please see screenshot:

Hi,

Thanks for this extra information. When you check your product edit pages are your product descriptions saved in the product short description field? If so you need to change the field mapping to this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wmuot6yqfjlpdz6/ProductShortDescription.png?dl=0
