Hello! I see Google Preview with image in WordPress, but it seems that with some articles it is not displayed in Google. Why is that happening?

    Google Resuts – https://ibb.co/wNTGDs3

Works ok with some other articles, no change on the website has been done recently.

Also, is it somehow possible to turn these image previews on desktop? Thanks!

    Hi @kubazabran

When you add a featured image to a post, it’s added to the Google/snippet preview on mobile. You can learn more about it in our snippet preview article.

Google is more likely to display an image on mobile results than on desktop, so there’s no way to enforce the image previews on desktop. Please note that it’s also not a guarantee that the image will always display, even on mobile. It’s just a possible preview of what your snippet will look like, on either mobile, or on desktop.

    Hi Michael,

thanks. Is there any way how to increase the chances of displaying that image?

There’s no specific setting in the Yoast SEO plugin to increase the chances of an image displaying in desktop results.

It’s important to note that whether Google displays the image in the search results is entirely up to Google. Also, there are many factors (e.g. authority, context, etc.) that Google may consider to decide whether to display an image next to your pages.

We recommend contacting Google for further assistance by posting on their forum here https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/webmasters.
