If I do a google search on a particular keyword string, my blog shows up among the google results. But if I click on the search result, google directs me to my home page, not the post on which the search terms actually exist.

Is there a way to fix this?

  • Can you link your website and show us what search terms you’re using?

When you create a post, it will show up in your home page and the home page certainly weighs more than your post page. Therefore, Google put your home page in the search result for the search terms that appear on the home page.

When you have created more posts so that the particular post with the search terms is pushed out of the home page, your post page will be able to rank for the search terms after Google re-indexes your site.
