Hi guys! I have installed the AMP plugin, but because i didn’t really needed it, i have uninstalled it again. But since then i get emails from google that the referenced AMP URL is not an AMP page. I didn’t create this page, don’t need it and don’t want it at all. And i have never referenced anything, too. So how come the page exists and is still there, even after I have deleted the plugin? I tried everything, but really don’t know how i can delete it. Could you please help? Thanks in advance and all the best from Cologne, Arthur

  • Hi Arthur,

This is just a notice to stat that the AMP URL which previously existed is no longer a valid AMP URL. I’ve checked your site and the there are no rel="amphtml" referenced in any of the canonical (non AMP) URLs I reviewed, as a result of you deactivating the plugin.

Once your site is recrawled these highlighted AMP report notices will no longer occur. Note that any visits to your previous AMP URLs will be redirected to it’s non AMP version.

Let me know if you have any further queries on the above.

@atani As we haven’t received a response, I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist. Thank you!
