Hi @rahulmanu ,
Thanks for using Yoast SEO plugin. We understand that you are noticing the error Missing field ‘position’ and Either ‘name’ or ‘item.name’ should be specified on the Google Search Console report.
Taking a closer look at the page which you have shared with us and testing the page on the?Rich Results Testing tool, we don’t seem to find the Yoast SEO schema being outputted. Instead, it seems like another breadcrumb schema information is being added (overridden or suppressed) by your theme or a similar third-party plugin in microdata format for your website; see the screenshot to know the microdata schema outputted by your theme: https://ibb.co/VV4bPnq
Please note that our plugin only outputs the JSON+LD schema?rather than the microdata schema. So kindly contact the theme developer to learn how to disable the microdata and let our Yoast SEO plugin automatically output relevant schema on the pages, including the author page.
If you cannot find it out, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out which theme or plugin is adding this microdata is by deactivating all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.
Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.
If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts
If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.
I hope we have helped you in the right direction.
