Google Search Console Service

First, clarification is needed.

Are you just trying to optimize your site to draw in more traffic?

Is Search Console returning website errors?

Is the website breaking?

It’s a general question, but the possibilities are so vast that it’s really hard to give anything resembling useful advice without understanding the nature of the problem.

Yes, I would like to optimize the site’s traffic/rankability.

The errors it’s detecting are on 3 WooCommerce page is
Submitted URL marked ‘noindex’

Based on what information I found, I went back into the site and made sure those pages were permitted to be crawled. Since that hasn’t changed the status on Console, wondering what I may be missing.

I assume the sie is not broken. I’ve made other fixes such as Mibile Usability Errors that were validated by Google.

I don’t know if this is specific enough but let me know what I can add. Thank you so much!

Yeah, your page looks fine to me.

Have you sent Google Search Console a request to have your page crawled again?

Wait. Never mind. Your noindex is still in there.

Do you have other plugins that could be putting that there?

I notice that you’re using Yoast. Try disabling it, then let me know once it’s been disabled. I’ll check again for the noindex.

I believe I did request a crawl but got the same message.

In looking at the Console, this is what I see.

In Coverage>Details it shows “Validation Started” and that date is 11/14/21.
And when I click on Details is see a box that says “3 pending, 0 Failed”

Does that track to you?

I actually checked your page again and it actually has noindex (sorry I missed it the first time), so yes, Google Search Console is right here.

Try disabling Yoast and let me know once it’s disabled. I’ll look again to see if that takes out the noindex code.

I looked into it some more and it would appear that WooCommerce has that setup on purpose.

It isn’t likely to cause issues for your website overall since the cart is only being used when a user makes a purchase anyway, but if you want to ask about it in more detail, I would suggest poking the developers of the WooCommerce plugin since this isn’t a Google Search Console issue.

If you’re fine with it and just want Search Console to stop throwing errors, then you’ll want to check your website’s sitemap and exclude the pages throwing positives.

This link talks about how to exclude posts from the sitemap, but I figure it might be similar for WooCommerce?
