Google Search Console says the Sitemap has error and is empty

    I can see the sitemap in my browser, with Google Search Console returns an error => it says the sitemap ca be fetch but is empty

  • Hi, it does not look like that sitemap is comping from the XML Sitemap & Google News plugin but in general: if you see a full (valid) sitemap but Google sais it’s empty, then you can just wait and the error should resolve itself automatically. Google is probably reporting on a cached response, not the live sitemap. Removing and resubmitting it in your Search Console sometimes helps.
