    Hi,

after last update Google Search Console is complaning about duplicated Date Structure for FAQPage.

I’ve checked my website header and there are 2 Date Structure being printed with the same values.

    Regards,
    Leonardo

    Hi Leonardo,

Would you be able to provide the URL of your page? Usually, when that happens, it’s because you have something else in your install that is also creating schema/structured data, such as Yoast. In a case like that, you would need to either disable the microdata in our plugin or in Yoast, so that you only have one.

On Yoast, UFAQs is selected as default and not as FAQ page data structure.

Also, both date structure has the same css class “ewd-ufaq-ld-json-data” and Yoast uses “yoast-schema-graph” class

I can tell you that our plugin does not output two sets of structured data. So something is either conflicting or separately outputting a different set of structured data. That is why I asked for the URL, so we can run it through Google’s testing tool and see if there is any information to be gleaned.

    Hello,

    Same problem here: https://www.digiportal.hu/xiaomi-mi-tv-soundbar-teszt-elerheto-aru-hangprojektor-kituno-hangzassal/

The FAQ Page duplicated in the sourcecode. When I disable the microdata, all 2 FAQ page field disappears.
I see double FAQ entry on the google results page.

    What could be the problem?

Our plugin only outputs one string of structured data per shortcode. Usually, when a duplicate happens, it’s for one of the two following reasons:

    1) You have multiple instances of the [ultimate-faqs] shortcode on the same page. This is not necessary as you can use shortcode attributes to include, exclude and limit the FAQs you want to display all with one shortcode.

    2) Because you have something else in your install that is also creating schema/structured data, such as Yoast. In a case like that, you would need to either disable the microdata in our plugin or in Yoast, so that you only have one.

Sorry but it doesn’t make sense for me. My FAQ page is published for years and it was working propely (with no Google Search Console errors) since then… we didn’t change anything and after the last update it started to happen.

Google Search Console is pointing to the single page (individual page) and I have Permalink Destination setting marked as “Main FAQ Page” but somehow Google is crawling theses pages as individual… it doesn’t seem to be working like it was before. These individual pages seems to be duplicating the Schema.

Try to check an individual page…

Both Schemas have Ultimate FAQ CSS class and there is no way to be a Yoast Schema since they use different CSS class and Yoast code starts and ends with a comment:

We just released version 2.0.4, which includes an update to the structured data to make it so that, if you have multiple instances of the shortcode on the same page, it will combine the data from all of them and output only one FAQPage schema
