• Hi there

Today I received an email from Google Webmaster Tools reporting that I have 100+ 404 (Not Found) errors on my website. Looking into the Search Console I noted that 100% of the errors are related to sub-urls with /AMP on it that should not be even crawled. They are all like images URL’s inside posts (like, website/post/imageurl)

What can be done to avoid those type of URL being sent to Google? They are even appearing on the search results on Google, it’s something that started after I setup AMP.

    Thanks!

OK, after digging more I found out that this is probably something from Yoast SEO plugin and not AMP. Somehow the plugin after an update changed some settings and screwed up a few things.

I’ll wait the Google Fetch / Index reset and report if the problem still occurs.

I think you should try to use this plugin

I used it for my site: [redacted] and the erorrs went away

I took a chance because I too have chosen the Yoast SEO as a week or two I noticed that some lik sending to the sales site from my desk does not work well and give me error 404 .-., – Ubuntu , and I do not understand if it’s the fact that I still have xp as the operating system, and google ceases to update this model, the confirmation I was left by an external collaborator because he is not the mistake, but in the meantime I thank you I try the next and thanks.
