I have a main site with two subdomains. I want the search bar on the two subdomains but not the main site. I thought an easy way to do this would be to deactivate the plugin on the main site, but when I did that it showed an error on the front end of the main site where the search bar used to be: WP Goosgle Search (WGS): Search

Is it possible to deactivate this plugin on the main site but still have it function on the two subdomains. I thought to delete in the FTP but that includes all three sites so I can’t simply delete it from one of the three sites.

    Hi Jasmin!

Do you have three independent WP instances on the three sub domains or have you got a WP Multisite solution?
What error message is shown when deactivate the plugin on the main site?

Yes, we have three WP instances, one for each subdomain. The error message that shows is in the spot where the search bar was, it says in simple text: “WP Goosgle Search (WGS): Search”

Could you send me a screenshot about the problem to [email protected]?
