Google search bar appears weird when use with Sparkling theme in the sidbar

Everything is working fine except my Google search bar appears weird at the side bar(my theme is Sparkling).The text input area is out of sync with the actual area allocated.And one more thing is there a way to enlarge the font of the menu title link at the navigation bar cause it is too small.
