Not sure what has happened – but yesterday the Google Revenue Manager script started showing up in the <body> tag. (I thought one of the many plugin updates may have been the issue)

I deactivated all of my plugins and turned them on one at a time until it showed up again – GN Publisher seems to be the issue. I’m currently running the free version 1.5.17.

I toggled off GN Publisher > Features > Google Revenue Manager to get the script removed from the top of the site (to get it to quit showing up in the <body> tag).

Any insights are appreciated as to why that script would be in the <body> tag.

Thanks for the response. I was able to resolve the error where the script was showing in the body tag i.e: <body class= “<script….>

I did this by goin into Settings > GN Publisher > Features then uncheck the first box “increase revenue and improve reader engagement”

This disabled the script I had entered at “Enter snippet code from Google” .

I then added the script in a more traditional way – using Code Snippets – to insert the needed script into the site <header>

Hopefully this will help someone else who might experience the same.

    Thanks

    Jim
