    Hi,
Recently, I find that all my webpages in google search results have breadcrumb paths in the format of https://xxx.com > Portfolio. I use Avada theme and have disabled breadcrumb function of Yoast SEO (because it causes the same issue in the title bar of all the webpages). I checked the google search console information and it seems that Yoast SEO injects a breadcrumb list with a item value “Portfolio” even when I have disabled it. Is there a way to hide the post type “Portfolio” and only show portfolio categories, or is there a way to deactivate Yoast SEO breadcrumb function completely so the theme can do its job to show the correct breadcrumbs in google search results? I know there is a similar topic more than 2 years ago, but I didn’t see the solution. Thanks.

    Hi @cadream

Even if you’ve disabled the breadcrumbs feature in the Yoast SEO plugin, it will still output the relevant breadcrumb schema in our graph, which can influence how the rich results appear in the SERP.

You’ll have to modify it using our Schema API if you want to remove the breadcrumb piece or disable the schema entirely. You can refer to the documentation here for more information – https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/api/#to-add-or-remove-graph-pieces
