Google reCAPTCHA v3

  • Is it hard to add support for Google reCAPTCHA v3? I have just updated my Contact Form plugin to use the v3 version so it would be nice to do the same here with your plugin for consistency.

    This v3 has been treated like “marmite” by the users of Contact Form 7.

    You either like it or you done.

    After research it seems that a plugin should really be offering the user a choice of using V2 or V3.

    If they user V3 then the badge will show. It can be hidden but then you must add a note to your site. I would be happy with the badge.

    It would just be nice to have consistency between my plugins approach. I don’t want you to break your plugin or disgruntle a lot of users. But if you can offer to support both it would be ideal.

    It seems the CF7 author is sticking with v3 (which I don’t mind). But, for me, given what I have learned directly from Google, v2 is actually better for my needs.
