Google reCaptcha not working

Good day to you.

I’m looking over what I assume is the right url with https://www.successnorthdallas.com/. Note, you typed “succecc” above and it was leading me to a non-existant page ??

Regarding the form itself, I’m really curious what’s causing this to be output at the start of the form: <div class="g-recaptcha"></div> Is that something you manually typed in somewhere? We should be inserting that ourselves, but only towards the end after all the user fields.

Towards the end of your form, there’s <div class="g-recaptcha" data-sitekey="SITEKEYHERE"></div> but my browser console is showing Google is finding the first, empty one that isn’t providing the sitekey.

I’m having a similar issue on two of my domains; northforkkings.org and southforkkings.org I don’t believe I’ve changed anything recently but suddenly over the weekend I’m getting constant registrations from spammers using alpha-numeric first and last names. Running v.1.2.4

@topix if you could please, start your own thread so we can focus that one on your specific issues. If you could also provide the website you’re using things on, that’d be wonderful as well.

I believe my issue is the same as the OP, and I did provide the website domains, but I’ll create a new thread if that’s what you need me to do.

To try and help further hinder incoming spam, version 1.3.0 is going to output the honeypot hidden field regardless of reCAPTCHA status. Currently we are doing reCAPTCHA if we have keys available, otherwise honeypot.

Marking as resolved for the time being.

Released version 1.3.2 with some extra timer-based spam prevention. Hopefully this takes out a lot of lingering spam getting through.
