Google reCAPTCHA

Same problem here. Recaptcha is visible on the rest of the site, but not in the popup. I am using CF7

Thank you for reporting the issue with Google ReCaptcha.

As the ReCaptcha is inserted and via Javascript by a third party plugin (GF or CF7) I cannot promise that I can find a solution for this. But I will have a look and let you know if I can find a solution or provide an update inside the plugin

I’m stuck here – I have set up a website with CF 7 and a google reCaptcha form. However, in my tests, the reCaptcha was displayed correctly in both cases – in a normal section and in a Divi Popup.

If you still have an issue with the reCaptcha element, could you temporarily set up a sample page (either public or password protected) and share it here? I’d like to review the issue on your website, as I could not reproduce any problem on my development site.

Had a divi form beneeth, but after deleting that one the recaptcha disappeared.

@alexanderverheijden, thanks to your test site and some StackOverflow articles I think I know what is going on and why!

The problem is, that Google initializes the reCaptcha right after the page is loaded. However, Popups for Divi removes the Popup Sections and stores them in memory and only appends them to the DOM tree right before they are displayed.

As an effect, google does not find any recaptcha elements *at page load* and does not try to initialize recaptcha elements at a later time.

I’m looking into ways to solve this, but cannot make any promises yet. I’ll update you here once I know more.

We are having the same problem, of the reCaptcha not showing in our popup. We have v 1.7.0 installed. We’re using request form for zendesk.

Same problem here. Captcha shows in the registration form. (Ultimate Member registration form). But not when that registration form is in a popup.
Any solution?

Phillip solved the problem with an update 8 months ago.

I’m using Gravity Forms in a popup module and the modules are in my footer template made with the Theme Builder (so my popup Gravity Form is available on all pages). Invisible & Checkbox ReCaptcha will not show the badge or checkbox within the popup for the Gravity Forms ReCaptcha. Subsequently after trying to submit the form, it kicks back an error with the ReCaptcha appearing asking to complete the verification. I have Version 2.2.1 of Popups for Divi. This was recent change as the recaptcha was working before. The recaptcha appears on regular form embedded into a page that isn’t a popup.
