  • In fact, Russians are now relentlessly hammering away at my contact form, sending me and my client emails with tons of malicious links in them.

I’m not understanding what Google means by saying that the latest version allows us to choose people who can post based on some score. What am I supposed to do? Go figure out which visitors have malicious intent somehow? How?

AND, Google doesn’t let you hide the little flyout in the corner of the screen.

    What are we missing?

    …forgot to tick the ‘notify…’

It’s CF7 that is displaying the Google reCAPTCHA flyout on every page, where it should (IMHO) only show that on pages that use a CF7 form, not every page of your site.
I’m going to submit a request of my own, but wanted to add my ‘support’ to your comment.

I’ve also noticed that it does seem to be using V3 too well either. You can usually test it’s effectiveness by using an icognito browsing session in which you are almost always asked for reCAPTCHA verification. CF7 forms aren’t doing that it appears.

I’m watching a thread over on StackExchange about this issue. Seems there are few solutions; we’re stuck with the badge if we want the free service.
