Google Publisher Tag

Thanks for reaching out @cmptscmp. Configuring your privacy and messaging settings is done from a users AdSense account.

When I publish this it says to use Google Publisher Tag to show it on my site.

The Google Publish Tag is associated with a users Ad Manager account, as per this guide. If you have an Ad Manager account, it may be possible to configure via this, however, even without doing so it’s possible for your privacy and messaging notices to appear when only using Site Kit – as long as you configured the messages within AdSense. If you want to share your site URL I can check whether the notices do appear.

While I’m checking for notices on your site, you may also wish to reach out in the AdSense Help Center in relation to any messages regarding using your Google Publisher Tag account. The product experts there may have more insights into why this appears within AdSense.

my site is everysnowday.co.uk. i don’t see the messages pop up, but then I may not have added the Privacy and messaging message tag correctly

Thanks for the update @cmptscmp. I can see that you do already have an existing consent feature on your website, and when checking this is does have ads configurations.

As you may already be compliant, there may be no action required. Unfortunately we’re limited to Site Kit queries here in the plugin support forums. You can reach out to the support team form for your existing cookie notice to ensure you’ve applied the correct configuration for ads.

If you prefer to use the AdSense related messaging, feel free to disable any other cookie related notices and ensure you have published messages for your site (see screenshot). Please check that status for that site, and ensure it is published.

I’m happy to check your site once more after doing so.
