Google Profile disables Nickname Author Display

    Enabling Google+ Profile in Jetpack causes my posts to show First Name + Last Name for author, even though the User’s record is setup to use Nickname in the “Display name publicly” user setting. Disabling Google+ Profile option in Jetpack restores my author display.

    That’s correct. The Google Authorship program requires that the author name be the same everywhere in your posts, to avoid any confusion.

    As a result, when you enable the Google+ profile module, Jetpack overwrites the author information displayed in your posts and uses your Google+ author name.
