Google Product Feed issues

  • I have tried to research this but as I’ve found before, most of your past links to data pages etc are no longer valid in this support area.

    My question:

    On the marketing tab there is the
    Google Merchant Centre / Google Product Search
    It gives you a “Google Product Feed” to submit to google. I have done so and google gives me this error.

    “Feed file is in a format that we don’t support: HTML. Please make sure you upload your feeds in one of our documented formats.”

    Can you please tell me how to fix this or where I can find support info to further research.

    I am using Version 3.9.1 of the plugin and cannot change that at this time because of changes to the program. Is this something that was addressed in the latest update?
