Google Preview Inconsistent

  • My google preview (using Yoast) on all my pages has my site name as Ethical Bliss. But when I do a google search for a page, the site name is always listed as ethicalbliss.com Would anyone know how to fix this issue? I don’t know where google is pulling the name from. The link I included is just one. They are all doing it. Thanks in advance.

  • Change the title from the title tag. You will find it in the head tag.
    Currently, it’s written as “What Do Barn Swallows Eat When They’re Not Dive-Bombing Us?” Change it to “Ethical Bliss”

    Thanks. The title of that post is correct. That’s just one page. My issue is happening on all pages/posts – the site title (not the post title) is always wrong on Google search. Rather than Ethical Bliss, it says ethicalbliss.com

    Try this instead, as you are using Yoast, go to WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site Basics > Website name (Ethical Bliss).
    This should do the work, but if not, you may post a question on ?Google Search Central Help Community because Yoast SEO plugin adds only the necessary schema required by Google (?Provide a site name to Google Search)

    You’re so kind to help. Yep, that is exactly what is there, Ethical Bliss. I haven’t changed it. Yet google still uses ethicalbliss.com
