    Hi everybody,

I just got aware, that since end of November something changed and all the new posts to Google+ are no longer public. I already tried to configure it and disconnected and reconnected the connections, but nothing helped.

Below Apps on Google+ there is no longer a possibility to configure the posts which are shared by WordPress (as described here: https://jetpack.com/support/publicize/google/).

Does anybody has an idea how to fix this issue?

    BR,

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Google+ did indeed make changes to the way third-party apps like Jetpack’s Publicize can post on Google+ Profiles and Pages. All posts are now public by default.

Could you try to reset your Google+ connection as explained here, to make sure you’re starting with a fresh connection?

    That should help!

    Hi Jeremy,

my problem is that all posts are by default not public.

Anyway tried again and followed your instruction, but the permissions in google (below …/apps) is still restricted. So all my posts are only visible to me. And I can no longer change it on google.

Do you have any other idea?

    Hi Jeremy,

although Google shows a restricted permission, I just mentioned, that the last post was pulic again. Mhm, seems to be fixed. ??

    Thank you.
