Google Plus count not working

  • Hello,

    I am using AccessPress Social Counter Plugin on my site.

    However, Google Plus Counter is not working. It’s still showing 0. I have placed correct API key and Profile ID as instructed. But still, problem persists.

    Twitter Counter is showing, though. I haven’t tried other social counters yet.

    FYI, I am not using any cache plugins on my website.

    Any help ?

    Hello there,

    Thank you for writing in and we apologize for the late response.

    We have double checked the google counter and we couldn’t find any issues. So we assume there might be some misconfiguration in the plugin or in the google plus page or google API account. So please follow below instructions once again to setup the google counter in the plugin.

    We hope the API key that you paste in the plugin’s field were correct without any spaces along with your google+ profile ID.
    Please check it once again for the confirmation.

    After the above steps, the counter will display you google+ total count.

    If still, the count is not displaying then there may be a privacy issue within the google+ account.
    You may need to public some of your settings in it.

    On the profile settings, please enable all those settings as shown in the screenshot.

    I am still facing this issue, the google plus count does not show anything but 0 although I have gone through the setup process 5 times now.

    EDIT: It turns out I am stupid. For others experiencing this issue:
    Make sure you add “+” in your google plus page name. I missed that!
