    Dear sir/madam,

    Is the order function working for google photos.. I want to show the latest photos first. Right now i have:

    [gallery type='google' view='photos' album_id='xxx' count='8' layout='random' sort='date-taken-desc' more='Show More']

    I am curious – how did you construct the shortcode? If you are using the interactive dialog (by clicking “Add / Edit Photonic Gallery”), you shouldn’t see anything for sort for Google … because there is no such feature in Google Photos’ API.

    There are options to sort in the Flickr or SmugMug shortcodes because those platforms allow for native sorting. Google’s API doesn’t offer any native sorting, and that cannot be built separately by the plugin either, because it will slow down your website considerably.

    I just made the code my self by looking at examples of Flickr on your website..

    Ah, OK. To the extent possible I have ensured that each provider’s page has the complete set of options. So Google’s page is very extensive about date filters and category filters. But since Google has no sorting option it is not documented there.
