Google Photos – Doesn’t Get The Right Albums

    Hi,

    I accidentally selected the wrong Google account in the Authenticate/Obtain Token step and saved the token. So I used the Reset page “Google Photos settings” button, re-entered the Google Client ID/Google Client Secret, and authenticated with the correct account/got the token/saved the token. It still showed the albums in the account that was mistakenly authenticated.

    EDIT: Clearing the cache didn’t work either.

    While there is code in place to explicitly handle this, there might be something in your server configuration preventing this from working. In such a case wait for an hour and retry. What might be happening is that your older access token might be getting retrieved from cache. The token expires after a while, so requests made after that get the right data.
