    HI

I’m having trouble with Google Pay displaying on Apple Device for my client on their Iphone. It shows on Safari but NOT on Google Chrome. I was told that it should show on both browsers for Apple.

It shows no problems on my Google Chrome on Anderoid device.

ALSO Apple Pay I have Linked domain name but it still DOESN’T show on Apple Device. Client has Apple Wallet set up and with credit card on it.

I’m not sure WHY it is still not showing.
What else could be wrong with Apple Pay ?
How else can I check things for Apple Pay if it is set up ?
There wasn’t much to setup apart from Linking the Domain name.

    Thanks
    Kristin

    Hello,

ALSO Apple Pay I have Linked domain name but it still DOESN’T show on Apple Device. Client has Apple Wallet set up and with credit card on it.

Is the client located in a country where Apple Pay is permitted?

To Enable Apple Pay, please be sure to follow the steps in this documentation below:

    HI

Yes it is Australia and is available.

Google Pay is showing on my android device using Google Chrome, but not the client Apple phone they are using on Google Chrome. It is viewable on Safari but NOT google Chrome on Apple device.

Why would this be an issue ?

With regards to Apple Pay, I’m following the instructions now.
Just a question regarding Apple Developer ID . I have logged in using client’s Apple ID to create Apple Developer ID.

Have been liaising with Stripe live chat also, and they don’t know at this stage how to fix issue.

When on this screen link that I was given by you https://support.stripe.com/questions/enable-apple-pay-on-your-stripe-account
And currently setting up Apple Pay for your iOS app

    Then I go to this:

Next, go to this page on Apple’s Developer Center
    1. Select the Merchant ID you’d like to add this certificate to, then click ‘Create Certificate’ in the Apple Pay Payment Processing Certificate section.
    2. When it prompts you to upload a Certificate Signing Request, choose the .certSigningRequest file you just downloaded.
    3. Verify your certificate details are correct. First, click Activate to enable the certificate, and then click Download to save it locally.

I keep getting this when clicking on the link
Next, go to this page on Apple's Developer Center

    Access Unavailable

This resource is only for developers enrolled in a developer program or members of an organization’s team in a developer program.

    Any ideas please ?

Do I have to pay for a Developer Membership of $149 ?
    It says:

    Purchase your membership.

To continue your enrollment, complete your purchase now.

Your purchase may take up to 48 hours to process.

Stripe have said they don’t think I need to do that, but they are looking at it now.

Does anyone have ideas on HOW to set it up properly in the IOS for Stripe please ?

    Thanks
    Kristin

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing back!

Google Pay is showing on my android device using Google Chrome, but not the client Apple phone they are using on Google Chrome. It is viewable on Safari but NOT google Chrome on Apple device.

Why would this be an issue ?

These buttons usually only show when there is a saved payment method in the browser or device being used. Customers need to have a payment method from a supported bank or payment card provider saved to their browsers.

See here how to use Stripe Test cards to test Express checkouts: https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#can-i-test-apple-pay

With regards to Apple Pay, I’m following the instructions now.
Just a question regarding Apple Developer ID . I have logged in using client’s Apple ID to create Apple Developer ID.

You only need to create an Apple Developer ID if you want to use Apple Pay with an iOS app. If you only wish to use Apple Pay in WooCommerce, then just follow this guide: https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#apple-pay

I also recommend you check this FAQ regarding the express checkout button not showing: https://woocommerce.com/document/stripe/#the-payment-request-button-is-not-showing

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

    HI

    Thanks for replying.
    For GPay – you mentioned-
These buttons usually only show when there is a saved payment method in the browser or device being used. Customers need to have a payment method from a supported bank or payment card provider saved to their browsers.

I am on an Android phone and using Google Chrome and I can see options for Gpay to pay, and have no account card setup. So I have no issues viewing Gpay on my Android.

For Gpay , it is just on Apple device using Google Chrome browser where Gpay does NOT display. Gpay displays on Apple device using Safari no issues.

I went back on LIVE chat with Stripe directly and they said:
Looks like all the setup is done correctly on Stripe side, domains are added successfully. On Woocommerce side, all you need to do is enable the “Express checkouts” option

Where do I find this ?
I cannot find this in my setting in Woocommerce/Settings ?

Also Stripe have said if Apple Pay still not displaying:
If it doesn’t work there might be an issue, but the issue is not on Stripe’s side, I just checked with our APK team and they say the integration is set correctly on Stripe.
Therefore the issue could be somewhere in the plugin.

    Please advise.
    Thanks
    Kristin

    Hi @kristinubute

If you’re using the WooCommerce Stripe payment gateway, you can head to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Click on the payment method you wish to enable the express checkout

    https://snipboard.io/UJewWX.jpg

You can also find it by navigating to your WordPress Dashboard > Plugins > Installed plugins > Find the WooCommerce Stripe payment gateway and click on their settings to manage it!

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    All the best!
