Google PageSpeed suggests Gzip compression, but already enabled
-
Hello,
When I use Google PageSpeed, it suggest that I enable Gzip compression, but I already enabled it. I tried everything, different plugins, codes, etc. but it doesn’t help. Other page speed / compression testers show the same result.
When I go to wp-admin/options.php and set ”gzip compression” from 0 to 1 and click on ”update settings”, I am redirected to a 404 page and it doesn’t save the new settings.
I use a premium theme, but don’t know if that could have something to do with it.
I am posting this here instead of there because their support is usually extremely slow and most of their answers don’t help. Created some tickets 2 weeks ago, still no replies :P.I hope you can help me out with this.
I use WP Super Cache plugin, WP3 Super Cache only slowed down my website.
