Google PageSpeed Score got hit after WordPress 3.8.1 update

  • Guys, did anybody else notice this? I am running multi-site install at iOS Basics. My update process went smooth and site is working fine.
    However, my google pagspeed score got hit it seems. I always used to get a score of 90-91 before the update. I tested the score again after the update and it went down to 79-80. Major problem to fix is server response time as per google pagespeed.
    PS: I am using a VPS and installed nginx and Varnish on top of apache.

    So, should I assume nobody has faced performance problem becuase of the update, or is it that nobody has noticed it yet.
