• I have a site for a catering recruitment company which uses wordpress categories to place their jobs in groups https://www.isisresourcing.co.uk

WordPress works beautifully but when I google pages to check SEO ranking I find that the link in Google only shows the category title, followed by a vertical divider (eg if you google chef de rang cotswolds you get

    Front of House |
followed by a description of the chef de rang job here (so it is picking up the actual job, just not displaying the post title which is ‘senior chef de rang £17.5k’

we appear 5th which I’m well pleased with. The problem is that the link doesn’t show a post (job description) title which would really help attract visits.

Is this a google oddity or have I missed a setting somewhere? I’m using a modified TwentyTen theme, FV all in one SEO pack and XML sitemap plugins, and my permalinks are configured to %postname%. I think the plugins are configured correctly but not positive.

I have seen a few comments about this but nothing I can make sense of.
