Google not recognising my sitemap

    Hi,

    I am trying to get google to recognise my blog sitemap https://www.bnphotography.com.au/blog/sitemap.xml

    It is saying error “unsupported format” in the Google webmaster tools section.

    I have downloaded XML Sitemap Generator for WordPress 3.1.2 but it still doesn’t recognise the sitemap.

    I went into the debug function to see if I could find the problem.

    The only error warnings notices was this….

    Errors, Warnings, Notices
    MySQL Queries

    Please edit wp-db.inc.php in wp-includes and set SAVEQUERIES to true if you want to see the queries.

    I have no idea what this means.

    Would you have any idea if this is the problem it is a simple fix or not?

    My only other plugin installed is wordpress.com Stats

    Hi –

    Under XML Sitemap Generator, there is a section ‘Location of your Site Map file’.

    Under the Automatic detection section, is there a detected URL path?

    For example:

    Detected URL: https://www.bnphotography.com.au/blog/sitemap.xml

    You might also try the option to ‘rebuild the sitemap’ manually. It’s at the top under the ‘Results of the Last Build Process’ section.
