Google not picking up my Categories properly

Converted the Categories into tags so hopefully that will solve an issue or two.. waiting game begins

If you are using All in One SEO plugin, it defaults to not having category pages indexed by search engines. Tags default TO be indexed

ahh gotcha, so in theory wouldnt that mess up Category pages being found or because I’ve converted them to Tags it will fix things?

either install the XML Sitemap plugin (make sure you read the instructions carefully) or create a sitemap at https://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

I’ve run xml sitemap and downloaded the compressed version. With WordPress on a custom host where should I upload this to?
