Hi, google seems to be picking up my meta description set in yoast, but not my meta title (on the homepage). My meta title is

‘Personal Trainer Bath | Personal Training Bath | TeamBreakthrough’

However if I google team breakthrough, it brings up ‘Team Breakthrough’ as the page title.. I’ve checked my homepage source code and the meta title exists correctly in there. Are you able to help at all?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The title you enter in our snippet preview is a suggestion for Google. If you’ve crafted awesome titles for your blog posts, nothing is more annoying than Google showing another title for your site in the search results.

Google’s generation of page title is completely automated. Google’s goal is to best represent and describe each result. They use a number of different sources to get this information. In doing so, they try to make the search results as relevant as possible. Due to this being handled on Google’s end, there is little you can do to force Google to display your preferred title.

We have an extensive knowledge base article which can help you understand why Google is showing the wrong title for your site. Please refer to this article for additional details.
