Google News Sitemap Not Working: Error Code Appears to be an HTML page

Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.

I have Yoast SEO and the news sitemap has ALWAYS worked perfectly fine. I used to use this plugin about a year ago and it worked fine. Now, as I’d like to go back, Webmaster Tools is providing me the above error.

An HTML page? I have no idea why or where to even go with this.
