Right now, it looks like Google’s crawler is being blocked from accessing that feed.

I would suggest contacting your hosting company and asking them to unblock Google’s feed crawler. It’s name is Feedfetcher-Google. Sometimes it gets blocked because it’s not a well known crawler.

On GN Publisher’s ‘info and settings’ page, look for the part where it says “Most Recent Feedfetcher Fetch” – when that has a date and time on it, you will know that Google was able to reach it.

Hi Chris, I use this address, the hosting support asks me “What error does the bot get, from which IP are the requests coming?”

I would not know the error the bot is getting, that would only be available to Google.

What I can tell you is that the feed is not being crawled/fetched. If you look at the bottom of the feed at https://justgame.fun/feed/gn/ , there will be a time and date of when the feed was last fetched by feedfetcher. Right now it just says it hasn’t been.

By far the most common reason for it not being fetched is that feedfetcher is being blocked by a firewall blocking unknown bots. Since Feedfetcher is not a well-known bot, it is often blocked by mistake.

The ip address is not static. Here is the information about it from Google:

No, it’s installed, and if the other site works with it on the same hosting, it must not be blocked.

It looks like it should be working. Can you go back into your Publisher Center and under your Just Game publication, double-check that for the section/s, you have it set up as a ‘feed’ using the url https://justgame.fun/feed/gn/ ?

I was doing some testing and now GN Publisher will report that the feed was crawled at 2021-07-23 22:43:58 That was me testing, not the Publisher Center hitting it. We are now looking for a time after that to see if the Publisher Center is getting to the feed,
