• According to Google’s new Podcast SEO guidelines, podcasts need a <link> meta link to the RSS feed in the following format:

    <link type=”application/rss+xml” rel=”alternate”
    title=”Your Podcast’s Name” href=”Your podcast’s RSS url”/>

    Here is the dev documentation: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/podcast.

    Google is doing a big push into podcasting and PowerPress support will help move this forward faster.

    Hello @neovita

    That is already a feature in PowerPress. Go to PowerPress Settings > Feeds tab, Check the box under “Feed Discovery”. Some versions of PowerPress say Exclude, it is a typo it should say “Include podcast feed links in HTML headers”. Check that box, click save and you should be all set.

    Thanks,
    Angelo

    That’s it! The “exclude” confused me. Using Version 7.2.
