Google Mobile-Friendly Test – Not mobile-friendly?
-
Hey Guys,
I’ve been puzzling over this one for a few days now and wondered if anyone else is seeing this, or if it’s just me, and if so can anyone help please?
So, for months now I’ve been happily using the plugin WPtouch to display my blog on a mobile device, correctly and the Google Mobile-Friendly Test:-
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly
Has verified that my site (up until now) was “mobile friendly”.
Last week after recent updates of wptouch, I tried the same Google Mobile Friendly Test and my site is now “Not mobile-friendly”. The display within that Google Mobile Friendly Test site shows a mobile device viewing my desktop site. This is not correct, on two mobile devices I have, the WPtouch plugin is working perfectly and showing my site as a mobile site. But, google no longer sees this.
My site is not blocking any robots.txt agents either.
As I said. This worked fine up until recent updates in wptouch.
What’s changed?
