I know this is not ideal, but could someone point me in the right direction? I have been posing on the Google Webmaster forum but after a week of consecutive posts I have had no response. I need to fix this issue so I am posting here as it is my wordpress site.

Google has redirected the most important page on my site to a bogus address. The page is:

    https://www.hsctstopsms.com/what-is-hsct/

Google has redirected it to double its url – :

    https://www.hsctstopsms.com/what-is-hsct/https://www.hsctstopsms.com/what-is-hsct/.

This means is cannot be found by anyone? I do not want to rename as I think it will just recognize it as duplicate content after all of the effort I put into writing it? Any suggestions?

    This is driving me nuts!

    Thanks

    Tina

Where are you seeing that happen? That URL (www.hsctstopsms.com/what-is-hsct/) doesn’t appear to be in the Google index yet. Can you point us to a Google search page where the issue is happening?

    Also Clayton,

I you go to the homepage hsctstopsms.com you can get to the page I am talking about from the menu. It loads fine. It is just not available in search….google does not acknowledge it exists?

    Thanks

I’m not seeing it (the redirect) anywhere. Maybe a sitemap or SEO setting issue? You can try https://validator.w3.org/checklink and see if catches anything for the https://www.hsctstopsms.com/what-is-hsct/ URL.

Have you tried the Crawl > Fetch as Google tool to see what Google gets?

If I do a site specific search, the correct URL is showing. See https://www.google.fr/webhp#q=site:www.hsctstopsms.com+%22WHAT+IS+HSCT%22 for instance.
