Google meta tags not showing

I have 2.2.1 installed, Add Google+ specific post meta data is checked in the Social section. The G+ publisher page is filled in. The function is present in the source code of the plugin. It’s simply not showing up with the “itemprop” meta fields for g+ no matter what I try
